Archetypes:
Gods and goddesses represent the leadership of the hunting team. It’s always 2 leaders. In the hunting team it’s the priest and officer.
The priest ensures that people in the hunting team can feel a sense of progress but at the same time make sure they don’t compete excessively because that will cause a lot of disruption in the hunting team.
The priest is like a judge in a football game. Ensures that everyone plays by the rules and knows their position.
Trickster god. Often gets drunk and is foolish. Tells the truth. Exposes the corruption and weakness.
Mentorship is a good way to find your archetype.
On social status: By having a wife that has a strong position among other women you will also be guaranteed a strong position.
Avoiding social media is similar to back in the day where people dreamt about being able to move away from the city back to the village.
Instead we moved into bigger and denser cities.
Now we’ve moved from the cities into the online world.
It’s hard to find valuable content on social media because nearly all of it is junk.
Social networks of the future: Much more humane and understanding of humans.
Problems in society:
Back in the day men spent a lot of quality time with other men and the same goes for women.
Today, men and women are constantly together.
As a result, society becomes overly sexualized.
In addition, we lost the historical connection with older people.
Households used to have many generations and took responsibilities for each other.
Today people usually live alone or with their partner and children.
– Oskar Faarkrog
We are right now creating the Future Skills Program which will be an online video course covering decision-making, career, and risk-management, with weekly homework and evaluations.
* Why decision making and risk management? Because better decisions and risk management equal better finances, better relationships and an overall better life.
* Decisions are the foundation of everything you do and the outcome you eventually get.
Abgrund says
Modern division lines of social interaction are the fault of the “education” system. Children are rigidly segregated by age, but the sexes and races are mixed. Modern people think nothing of interracial marriage but are horrified at the idea of a 40 year old man marrying a 20 year old woman; just a few generations ago it was the other way around.
Interesting idea about oversexualization being a product of constant mixing of the sexes. I think compulsory and mixed-sex education preceeded Freud’s theories by a couple of generations.
Ludvig Sunström says
I recently heard a suggestion to have school classes divided by classes, not segregated by age, but by age measured in the course.
“Modern people think nothing of interracial marriage but are horrified at the idea of a 40 year old man marrying a 20 year old woman; just a few generations ago it was the other way around.”
–Definitely depends on where you live.
